What exactly does Oxen Civil do?
Everything below grade and the surface on top of it: clearing, mass excavation, grading, underground utilities, drainage, foundations, and asphalt and concrete paving. One contractor carries the site from raw dirt to a pad your vertical trades can build on.
Where do you work?
We're a Virginia-based contractor working out of one yard in Lynchburg, covering the city and the surrounding counties. Farther out than that? Talk to us. We'll tell you straight away whether we can get a crew to your site.
How do I get a price?
We walk the site first, free. You get an itemized written quote with real numbers and a real timeline, typically within five business days. We don't quote earthwork over the phone. That's how estimates turn into change orders.
Who handles the earthwork on my site?
Our own crews, on our own equipment. Grading, excavation, and drainage run under one schedule, so fewer handoffs means fewer people pointing at each other when something slips.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes, general liability, workers' comp, and bonding capacity for residential and mid-size commercial work. Certificates are available on request for any GC packet.
